HHS B&G BB 11-18-10 : For those of you who might not be familiar with me and my work at HHS, I am a professional sports photographer who covers major sporting events for a national wire service. Several years ago, while my son was playing for the Commando Footbal team, I started taking photos of their games. Over the years, other HHS teams have allowed me to photograph their games and make pictures available for sale. This is not an exact science and the coverage will never be completely even or fair. I do keep track of who needs more photos, but variables like playing time and just plain luck (good or bad) often determines how many photos I can get of each player. I hope you enjoy the photos and find this service to be of value. You can view the photos individually, or watch a slide show. (See button at very upper right) You may also purchase photos from this site by clicking on the 'Buy' button to the upper right of the enlaged photo on this page. The lighting in the gym is challenging and some of the photos may be a little "soft". HHS B and G BB 12-17-10 : I tried something a little different this game. There were lots of technical hurdles, but I was able to use a couple of strobes to shoot the first half of the girl's game and all of the boy's. (I will try to shoot both halves next game.) This game was all about trying to produce some 'court portraits'. If anyone is ineterested in larger prints, just send me an email and we can discuss it. For the most part, I have sized the files for 4 x 6 and 5 x 7. But, for some of these, they will look really good in an 8 x 10 or even 11 x 14. Anyway... I tried to produce some higher res, more portrait-like photos from this game.

HHS B Soccer 04-10-11 : Some things to keep in mind. These have been cropped at 5 x 7. In most cases, there is room on the original if the crop you want doesn't fit. So, send me an email if you need help making a crop fit. Also, I don't do much editing on these. If a shot looks a little dark, or not quite centered, whatever... I do a final edit before releasing any prints. Moms... Special Alert... My partner and I are moving into portrait work. We are interested in subjects for promotional purposes and we are willing to make an outrageous deal with you if we can use portrait shots of your son in our adverts. If you are interested, please contact me by email. donmcpeak@bai-tn.com Lastly, I have contacted the TSSAA, your principal, and coach Plummer with a request to use images on a tutorial blog for a lens manufacturer. I am in the final stages of discussions to be the pro sports shooter for Sigma lenses and will be creating instructional material for them. I need releases from parents to use an image. So, pending final approval by coach Plummer and Ms Worsham, I may be contacting you for permission. There is no obligation to grant me any rights. I am just giving you a heads up that I may approach you to grant me a release to use a photo of your son on a blog site, hosted by this manufacturer. There is no compensation involved and no implied endorsement by the athlete, so their eligibility is not in question.

HHS B Soccer 05-05-11 Seniors : The photos in this gallery are courtesy of Bellwether Action Imaging. To save the photo, select the thumbnail below and it should show a preview to the right of the screen. (1 of 19 shows by default.) Then, click on the photo to open it up. A new page should open. On the top of the page, where it says "size", select X3 or O. When the photo opens to the larger size, you can right click on it and 'save as' to any file you wish. You are free to make prints, use as a screensaver, or send to granny in Alabama... :-)

HHS Boys Soccer 03-27-10 : PLEASE READ The images loaded into this gallery are much larger than I have used in the past. In most cases, these images will print in 8 x 10, 11 x 14, and even 16 x 20. In prior galleries I have done for HHS Soccer, you were limited to 4 x 6 and 5 x 7. You can preview the images in larger resolution by clicking on the thumbnail, clicking again on the image to the right, and then selecting the size you want to view (L, XL, O etc...) when the larger image opens. Also, you have the option of seeing all photos in a slideshow by clicking on the 'Slideshow' button the the right of this header. Lastly... If you do want to order a large print but the crop doesn't look right, please contact me. You are not limited to the crop on these photos. We have LOTS of flexibility.

HHS Girls Soccer 10-14-10 : I'm sorry for the quality (poor) of some of these photos. The field is very dark in places and the lights cycle pretty hard. I obviously concentrated on seniors and tried to get shots of those I didn't get during the day game. I'll have the seniors with their parents photos up shortly. HHS Girls Soccer Seniors '10 : These photos are free to take, print, share, etc... To save, left-click on the thumbnail below. Then, left-click on the larger image that appears in the lower right. A new window will open. At the top of the new window, on top of the photo, you can select the size you want. Choose 'O' for original. The photo will open to a large size. Right-click and save the file to your desktop. You can now print the photo. It is pre-sized to a 4 x 6.
